Ogier in Guernsey advises Energy Revolution Ventures on the launch of ERV Fund II

Ogier's Investment Funds team in Guernsey has advised Energy Revolution Ventures (ERV), an energy technology venture capital firm, on the launch of its second Guernsey-based fund, ERV Fund II.

ERV is a venture capital firm investing at Seed and Seed A in the foundational technologies of electrification. Its core focus is energy storage, grid technology and advanced materials, with selective investments in adjacent areas including renewable fuels and carbon capture where they build on the same electrochemistry and engineering base.

ERV Fund II is a Guernsey-registered closed-ended private investment fund targeting US$50 million and is anchored by Centrica plc, a leading UK and Ireland integrated energy company.

Ogier advised on all Guernsey law and regulatory aspects of the fund's establishment. The team was led by partner Bryon Rees and managing associate James Dickinson. Ogier worked closely with lead onshore counsel Keystone Law and with IQ-EQ as Guernsey administrator.
