Ogier has achieved Approved Employer status from the Association for Certified and Chartered Accountants, once again highlighting its ongoing commitment to the professional development of its people.
The accreditation certifies that Ogier provides meaningful support to its Association for Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) students and has high standards of staff training and development, reflecting the strength of its learning culture.
The firm achieved Platinum status for trainee development and was recognised for its commitment to professional development across the UK and Ireland, the Channel Islands, Hong Kong and the Cayman Islands. ACCA says the accreditation demonstrates that an organisation “offers the best professional, technical and ethical skills” and it “supports ongoing training and development”.
Ogier's Head of Talent and Development, Hazel Cardwell, said: “Achieving ACCA Approved Employer status is testament to the continued investment in our people, and the strength of Ogier's ‘always learning’ culture. Professional development is vital to our success, which is why we go beyond the traditional training approach.
“Teams have access to digital learning resources, bespoke development programmes, external qualifications and courses, developmental assignments, and a supportive coaching and mentoring culture. This is complemented by Ogier’s commitment to flexible working, diversity and inclusion and employee wellbeing. The ACCA Approved Employer accreditation reaffirms to our people that with us, they have all the support they need to build a successful and rewarding career.”
This latest accreditation follows Ogier being once again named a Platinum Employer Partner of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) last year. This title recognises that ongoing professional development is a key part of the firm’s culture, employees take control of their own learning and senior leaders inspire their fellow practitioners to progress.
STEP employer accreditation is awarded every three years following a rigorous review process and highlights businesses who have shown commitment to the career development of its people within the trusts and estates field.
Ogier’s certification across both ACCA and STEP solidifies its commitment to support people of all backgrounds to fulfil their professional ambitions.
