Ogier in Jersey is rated top tier in the Legal 500 UK Guide 2027 across eight practice areas. A total of 40 lawyers, including 22 partners, have been singled out for individual recognition in Jersey, with 12 new rankings for 2027.  

Stand out testimonials collated independently by Legal 500 include: "Ogier builds loyalty, and that benefits clients" and "the team is without a doubt one of the leading teams in Jersey. They are efficient, technically very good, and consistently deliver the highest standards of advice to clients".

Ogier's Banking and Finance team is named "one of the leading banking teams in the Jersey market" with "very good bench strength " by clients. Leading Partner Bruce MacNeil is "responsive, commercial and collegiate". Next Generation Partner Kate McCaffrey is "excellent", while Jennifer Cox has been promoted from key lawyer status to Next Generation Partner.

Dispute Resolution

Praised by clients as "one of the strongest teams across the insolvency and litigation space in the Channel Islands", Ogier's Dispute Resolution team is "one of the clear leaders for dispute resolution in Jersey". The team is ranked tier one for its expertise in trust disputes, contentious insolvency and commercial disputes, including shareholder and unfair prejudice matters. The "superb" Nick Williams and Damian Evans maintain their Leading Partner positions. "Exceptional practitioner" Rebecca McNulty maintains her Next Generation Partner status alongside James Angus. Matthew Davies and Ralph Spencer-Tucker are recognised as key lawyers.
